Today was my first day at Cal State Fullerton and I am utterly exhausted. I had work all morning from 6-11am and then I had about 2 hours to eat lunch and shower before class. Parking was not as bad as I expected. I found a spot really quickly and in the shade too! ::happy dance::
My first class was Acting 1: Majors, and I think I am going to like it. I can't decide yet if I like my teacher. But this is for sure, he's got two things going for him:
1.) He has friendly, crinkly brown eyes and I feel perfectly comfortable meeting his gaze dead on.
2.) He looks a little like Mr. Hufferd. Like maybe he could be his cousin or something.
So we did a few exercises, just little theatre exercises and it was fun and I really love being in an acting class for the first time in a long time where I know absolutely nobody! It's the best way to take an acting class. I have no friends in that class and I don't intend to make any. (I know, I know, I'm so anti-social). We had to partner up also, and another thing I loved is that the teacher chose partners for us. So there was none of that awkward shit-I-don't-know-anybody ridiculousness. I am meeting with my partner tomorrow. She seems nice enough.
Next was Voice and Movement, which I am absolutely positive I am going to love. It's all about getting in touch with your body, your voice, and such, and I love shit like that. Sadly, I am not taking it with Joan (who was highly recommended to me by both Erin and Andrea Morgan.) I'm not sure Joan is teaching this semester. So sad. But I love my teacher. She seem spectacularly awesome, so it's all good. I'm already feeling stressed. People are already talking about jury's which freaks me the fuck out, but I'm trying not to think about it until the time comes. All I can say is I am going to be one busy girl.
And now, I am off to read HBP, watch CoS..or both. Night!

Good luck with your classes. They sound much better than mine!
